Abstract: The article evaluates whether the new curriculum developed by history faculty at Rollins College in Florida helps students to effectively learn important history skills. Topics include an investigation by American historian Claire Strom into whether students' acquisition of primary source literacy skills is facilitated by the iterative pedagogy of 200-level classes, the reason for the revision of the curriculum in 2014, and the types of 300-level courses that resulted from the revision.
