| Abstract (English): | The article "Ecocritical Readings of Heritage: Animated Ecologies and their Ancestral Roots: Legendary and Literary Ecofictions" addresses the importance of heritage and biocultural memory, especially traditional and local wisdom expressed in legends and other ecofictions. The study is based on paradigms such as ethnoecology and ecocriticism, and seeks to make ancestral wisdom visible in relation to water imaginaries. The need to make water culture and its riches visible through these narratives is highlighted. The text also discusses ecofictions and legends related to nature and water, the importance of changing the perception of nature through cultural manifestations such as art and literature, and the presence of divinities and spirits in nature. In addition, the representations of mythological and folkloric beings in different cultures and traditions are analyzed, and the importance of myths in literature and the arts is mentioned. Finally, the importance of imaginaries and cultural memory in relation to water and nature is discussed, and a list of bibliographic references related to the topic is provided. | Abstract (Spanish): | El artículo "Lecturas ecocríticas del patrimonio. Ecologías animadas y sus raíces ancestrales: ecoficciones legendarias y literarias" aborda la importancia del patrimonio y la memoria biocultural, especialmente las sabidurías tradicionales y locales expresadas en leyendas y otras ecoficciones. El estudio se basa en paradigmas como la etnoecología y la ecocrítica, y busca visibilizar las sabidurías ancestrales en relación a los imaginarios del agua. Se destaca la necesidad de visibilizar la cultura del agua y sus riquezas a través de estas narraciones. El texto también habla sobre las ecoficciones y leyendas relacionadas con la naturaleza y el agua, la importancia de cambiar la percepción de la naturaleza a través de manifestaciones culturales como el arte y la literatura, y la presencia de divinidades y espíritus en la naturaleza. Además, se analizan las representaciones de seres mitológicos y folklóricos en diferentes culturas y tradiciones, y se menciona la importancia de los mitos en la literatura y las artes. Por último, se habla de la importancia de los imaginarios y la memoria cultural en relación con el agua y la naturaleza, y se proporciona una lista de referencias bibliográficas relacionadas con el tema.
