| Abstract (English): |
The study presents the results of the application of three different methodologies: active master class, learning guide and virtual course to three different groups of high school students belonging to educational institutions in the city of Loja. For data analysis, the non-parametric Kruskal-Wallis H test and the Mann-Whitney U test were used. The results show an improvement in the level of financial education of the students; however, there are significant differences in performance in financial education between the three groups. The results support the effectiveness of the different methodologies and underline the need to promote sound financial education to ensure good economic management in the future. El estudio presenta los resultados de la aplicación de tres metodologías distintas: clase magistral activa, guía de aprendizaje y curso virtual a tres grupos diferentes de estudiantes de bachillerato pertenecientes a instituciones educativas de la ciudad de Loja. Para el análisis de los datos, se utilizó la prueba no paramétrica H de Kruskal-Wallis y la prueba de U Mann-Whitney. Los resultados evidencian una mejora en el nivel de educación financiera de los estudiantes; no obstante, existen diferencias significativas en el rendimiento en educación financiera entre los tres grupos. Los resultados respaldan la eficacia de las diferentes metodologías y subrayan la necesidad de promover una educación financiera sólida para garantizar una buena gestión económica en el futuro.
