| Abstract: | The understanding of religious moderation in higher institutions has an essential role for students, such as influencing academic achievement. This study aims to find the relationship between the religious moderation attitude of the students and students' achievement. This study uses quantitative research methods by taking a sample of 1681 students at Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Mas Said Surakarta. The results of the study showed that students performed a high degree of immoderateness in the six dimensions of religious moderation. Among the highest percentage lies in the enforcement of the khilafah in Indonesia. In addition, the results of the analysis show that there was a significant relationship between the attitude of moderation and academic achievement of sig. 0.048 < 0.05 (Significant at 95%).
