Abstract: The Journal of Jewish Education, which is celebrating its 95th birthday this year, has a discrepancy in its age due to falling behind its publication schedule multiple times over the past 95 years. The current issue of the journal compared the contents of the inaugural issue in 1929 to gauge how the field and research agenda has changed over time. The journal now focuses on practitioner research and includes articles on topics such as Hebrew education, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and the perspectives of parents on race in the context of sending their children to private Jewish schools. The journal continues to grapple with the implications of ideas and discourses in American education. [Extracted from the article]
