Abstract (English): The main focus of the article is an interview with Eliška Walterová about the history and future of the journal Orbis scholae. The journal, which originated as a bulletin for the RECES project, has transformed since 2007 into a scholarly periodical with international connections and has been included in the Scopus database, which has enhanced its prestige. Walterová emphasizes the importance of maintaining the quality and relevance of the journal in a changing environment, including the transition to an online format and considerations regarding language policy. Časopis, který vznikl jako bulletin projektu RECES, se od roku 2007 transformoval na odborné periodikum s mezinárodními vazbami a byl zařazen do databáze Scopus, což posílilo jeho prestiž. Walterová zdůrazňuje důležitost udržení kvality a relevance časopisu v měnícím se prostředí, včetně přechodu na online režim a zvažování jazykové politiky.
