Abstract: The article reports on the signing by U.S. Attorney General Merrick B. Garland of a final rule under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to improve access to medical diagnostic equipment (MDE) for people with disabilities. Cited are the comment of Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke of the Civil Rights Division on the rule's passage, the obligations of public entities that use MDE, and how it would make it easier for people who use wheelchairs to receive medical care.
