| Abstract (English): | For Edith Stein, individualized education cannot be separated from personalized education, without these notions being synonymous. For our study we take the concepts of potency (Potenz) and act (Akt), developed in her work Finite and Eternal Being, and we link them to the words commonly used by the philosopher: unfolding (Entfaltung) and development (Entwicklung). The objective is to argue, from the point of view of Edith Stein's pedagogical thought, the individualized nature of all educational interventions, anthropologically justify it is need, and present the relationship that the author establishes with the concept of personalized education. | Abstract (Spanish): | Para Edith Stein, la educación individualizada no se puede desvincular de la educación personalizada, aunque no sean nociones sinónimas. Para nuestro estudio tomamos los conceptos de potencia (Potenz) y acto (Akt), desarrollados en su obra Ser finito y ser eterno, y los vinculamos a los vocablos utilizados habitualmente por la filósofa: despliegue (Entfaltung) y desarrollo (Entwicklung). El objetivo es argumentar, desde el punto de vista del pensamiento pedagógico de Edith Stein, el carácter individualizado de toda intervención educativa, justificar antropológicamente su necesidad, y exponer cuál es la relación que establece la autora con el concepto de educación personalizada.
