Abstract: The article discusses the importance of engaging health professions students in co-producing research to enhance their educational experiences and research skills. It addresses barriers to undergraduate research participation, such as lack of awareness and time constraints, and emphasizes the value of diverse student engagement. The toolbox presented in the article outlines practical steps for educators to implement co-production principles, from design to delivery and development, to foster collaborative research partnerships and equip future clinicians with essential skills.
