| Abstract (English): |
The integration of theory and practice is essential for effective learning in electronics and electrical engineering. However, public higher education institutions often lack the resources to acquire educational trainers due to their high cost and limited funds. This article presents a quasi-experimental study involving students in Automation and Industrial Control. A three-dimensional virtual environment simulating an industrial process was implemented to facilitate practical exercises in basic i ndustrial process control and reinforce theoretical knowledge. Through surveys of 30 participants, the benefits of using this virtual environment were assessed. Results indicate a positive perception among students regarding its use, as well as improved learning outcomes. This research aims to encourage the scientific community to explore new learning methods in technical fields by incorporating virtual reality as an innovative educational tool. La integración de teoría y práctica es esencial en la enseñanza de electrónica y electricidad; sin embargo, los laboratorios de instituciones públicas frecuentemente carecen de recursos para adquirir entrenadores didácticos debido a su alto costo. Este artículo presenta una investigación cuasi-experimental con estudiantes de Automatización y Control Industrial, implementando un entorno virtual tridimensional que simula un proceso industrial para facilitar las prácticas de control básico. A través de encuestas a 30 participantes, se evalúa el impacto del entorno virtual, revelando una percepción positiva y una mejora en los resultados de aprendizaje. La investigación propone que la realidad virtual puede ser una herramienta educativa innovadora para carreras técnicas, incentivando a la comunidad científica a explorar nuevos métodos de enseñanza.
