Abstract (English): The study focuses on assessing the knowledge and competencies of pre-service teachers in Primary and Secondary Education in Ciudad Real, regarding the natural landscapes of the region. This assessment was conducted through a questionnaire administered after three field trips to a protected area in the Montes de Toledo, including the Cabañeros National Park. The hypothesis that there is limited knowledge of these spaces as didactic resources among students is considered. The research employs a descriptive and exploratory design, collecting data through qualitative questionnaires. A total of 150 students from nine university degrees, spanning three centers and two universities, participated, identifying five Relevant Didactic Sites (LID) for teaching purposes. Results indicate a strong preference for educational activities in certain spaces and rejection of others, with a focus on curriculum competencies related to landscape interpretation and the evaluation of natural environment conservation.
