The purpose of this work is to understand how research training processes develop within the research groups at the University of Caldas from the perspective of the social actors involved. The approach is interpretative and based on complementarity. The analysis methodology included interviews, focus groups, and content and categorical analysis. The participating actors were an institutional coordinator, 38 coordinating teachers and 38 students who were part of the research groups. The results identified four categories: a) constitution of the research groups, b) work dynamics, c) weaknesses/opportunities/strengths and threats matrix, and d) instructional research. The conclusions show that this strategy encourages, among other aspects, reflection, critical thinking and collaborative work, which leads to an integral research training. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |

El objetivo de este trabajo es comprender cómo se desarrollan los procesos de formación investigativa al interior de los semilleros de la Universidad de Caldas a partir de los actores sociales participantes. La metodología presenta un enfoque interpretativo desde la complementariedad. Entre las técnicas se incluyen: entrevistas, grupos focales, y análisis de contenido y categorial. Participaron un coordinador institucional, 38 docentes-coordinadoras(es) y 38 estudiantes integrantes de semilleros. Con base en los resultados surgieron cuatro categorías: a) constitución de los semilleros, b) dinámica de trabajo, c) matriz de debilidades/oportunidades/fortalezas y amenazas y d) investigación formativa. Las conclusiones indican que mediante esta estrategia se fomentan, entre otros aspectos, la reflexión, el pensamiento crítico y el trabajo colaborativo; lo que conlleva a una formación investigativa de carácter integral.
