Abstract (English): The objective of this work consisted of determining the incidence of moral values in the social behavior of sixth grade students from a basic education school. Its specific objectives were: identifying the practice of moral values, analyzing social behavior and developing an action plan for the problem. A quantitative, non-experimental, transversal and descriptive methodology was used, employing a sample of 34 students selected through a convenience sample. An observation sheet and a comparison list were applied as instruments. Among the main teachers it was found that 64.7% of students had a regular level of practice of moral values, 32.4% had a high level and only 2.9% had a low level, identifying solidarity as the value with a predominance of negative responses. In social behavior there is good behavior in the dimension of learning to accept and negative responses in the dimensions of relationships and coexistence. It is concluded that the lack of practice of the value of solidarity affects the student's capacity for relationships and cooperation, which is why the application of collaborative strategies and strengthening values in joint effort between parents and the educational community is essential. Abstract (Spanish): El objetivo de este trabajo consistió en determinar la incidencia de los valores morales en el comportamiento social de estudiantes de sexto grado de una escuela de educación básica. Sus objetivos específicos fueron: identificar la práctica de valores morales, analizar el comportamiento social y desarrollar un plan de acción para la problemática. Se utilizó una metodología cuantitativa, no experimental, transversal y descriptiva, empleando una muestra de 34 estudiantes seleccionados mediante un muestreo por conveniencia. Se aplicó una ficha de observación y una lista de cotejo como instrumentos. Entre los principales hallazgos se encontró que el 64,7% de estudiantes posee un nivel regular de práctica de valores morales, el 32,4% un nivel alto y tan solo el 2,9% un nivel bajo, identificando a la solidaridad como el valor con predominio de respuestas negativas. En el comportamiento social se halló un buen comportamiento en la dimensión aprender a aceptar, y respuestas negativas en las dimensiones relación y convivencia. Se concluye que la falta de práctica del valor solidaridad incide en la capacidad de relación y cooperación del estudiante, para lo cual es esencial la aplicación de estrategias colaborativas y reforzar valores en un esfuerzo conjunto de padres y comunidad educativa. Seus objetivos específicos foram: identificar a prática de valores morais, analisar o comportamento social e desenvolver um plano de ação para o problema. Foi utilizada uma metodologia quantitativa, não experimental, transversal e descritiva, empregando uma mostra de 34 estudantes selecionados por meio de um mapa por conveniência. Foi aplicada uma ficha de observação e uma lista de cotejo como instrumentos. Entre os principais hallazgos constatou-se que 64,7% dos estudantes apresentam um nível regular de prática de valores morais, os 32,4% um nível alto e apenas os 2,9% um nível baixo, identificando a solidariedade como o valor com domínio de respostas negativas. No comportamento social, houve um bom comportamento na dimensão aprender a aceitar e responder negativas nas dimensões de relacionamento e convivência. Conclui-se que a falta de prática do valor solidário incide na capacidade de relacionamento e cooperação do estudante, pois o que é essencial para a aplicação de estratégias colaborativas e de reforço de valores em um esforço conjunto entre pais e comunidade educativa.
