| Abstract (English): | This research assesses the students' perspective on how they assume the humanistic formation in their education. The quantitative research with cross-sectional design and descriptive scope, indicates in the findings that university students know how important it is to have mastery of technical skills to achieve a favorable job performance, which is strengthened by assuming the values of responsibility, solidarity, commitment and collaboration from their professional practice to project the development and progress of humanity. The comparative analysis of the Bachelor's Degree programs in Public Administration and Management for Development, Civil Engineering, Nursing and History, indicate that 65% of the students accept the influence that the international context has on Higher Education, so they should opt for a technical-specialized education and also locate the importance of assuming the values that promote humanistic principles as a counterweight to the homogenization that Globalization has tried to impose.
