| Abstract (English): |
The integration of new technologies into science education has revolutionized laboratory work, which is the focus of this study. This work presents an experimental design proposal for a thermal conductivity lab exercise. To achieve this, 3D printing and Arduino technology were employed for the fabrication of components and real-time data acquisition, respectively. This approach enabled the construction of a thermal conductivity measurement station. To validate the proposal two samples were prepared, one made of gypsum and the other of ABS, and thermal conductivity measurements, Κ, were performed. The measured values for both samples showed excellent agreement with those reported in the literature, with Κ = 0.249 ± 0.015 W/mΚ for the gypsum sample and Κ = 0.203 ± 0.007 W/mΚ for the ABS sample. In addition to being a cost-effective and easily implementable approach, this proposal offers an enriching educational experience for students by actively engaging them in the teaching-learning process.
