Abstract (English): This article aims to characterize the profiling of educational research trends on training processes through a documentary investigation conducted for the analytical review of the papers of the thematic area Training Processes, presented during the 15th, 16th and 17th editions of the National Congress of Educational Research (in Spanish, Congreso Nacional de Investigación Educativa, CNIE) of the Mexican Council of Educational Research (in Spanish Consejo Mexicano de Investigación Educativa, COMIE). The above, based on the identification of recurrent features that show areas of opportunity for the strengthening of this work in higher education and teacher training institutions. The document is organized into four thematic sections in order to present relevant findings on trends in educational research on training processes as an object of study. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
Abstract (Spanish): Mediante una investigación documental para la revisión analítica de los trabajos del área temática Procesos de formación, presentados en las ediciones XV, XVI y XVII del Congreso Nacional de Investigación Educativa (CNIE) del Consejo Mexicano de Investigación Educativa (COMIE), este artículo tiene como propósito caracterizar el perfilamiento de tendencias de investigación educativa sobre procesos de formación. Lo anterior, a partir de la detección de rasgos recurrentes que dan cuenta de espacios de oportunidad para el fortalecimiento de este quehacer en instituciones de educación superior y de formación de docentes. El documento está organizado en cuatro apartados temáticos para la presentación de hallazgos relevantes sobre tendencias perfiladas en investigación educativa, en torno a los procesos de formación como objeto de estudio.
