Abstract: The article focuses on the case of a 26-year-old male hockey player who experienced left foot pain following a puck impact while blocking a shot. Physical examination revealed tenderness over the medial navicular bone, leading to a differential diagnosis that included a navicular fracture and posterior tibialis tendonitis. Imaging studies confirmed a mildly comminuted nondisplaced intraarticular fracture of the navicular bone. The treatment involved immobilization, followed by gradual weight-bearing and physical therapy, resulting in a pain-free return to full activity eight weeks after the injury.
