Abstract (English): This research examines the impact of GeoGebra software on academic performance and motivation towards learning linear programming in third-year students of Unified General Baccalaureate of the Santa Rosa Educational Unit during the period 2022-2023. To this end, a bibliographic analysis is carried out around education, exploring various pedagogical currents with a special focus on constructivism. The relevance of teaching resources is explored, highlighting the role of Information and Communication Technologies, and in particular, of GeoGebra Software. For this research, a proposal for Didactic Sequences using GeoGebra is developed, aimed at teaching linear programming. The research uses a mixed methodology with a quasi-experimental design, integrating qualitative and quantitative methods to evaluate the impact of the proposal on the academic performance and motivation of students. A control group and an experimental group are used. The results show that the use of GeoGebra improves learning, as the experimental group obtained higher scores after the intervention, and the students perceived the classes as more dynamic and understood mathematical procedures better. This research contributes to the educational field, combining theory and practice to improve the quality of learning in a specific context of secondary education [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
Abstract (Spanish): Esta investigación examina el impacto del software GeoGebra en el rendimiento académico y la motivación hacia el aprendizaje de la programación lineal en los estudiantes del tercer año de Bachillerato General Unificado de la Unidad Educativa Santa Rosa durante el período 2022-2023. Para ello, se lleva a cabo un análisis bibliográfico en torno a la educación, explorando diversas corrientes pedagógicas con un enfoque especial en el constructivismo. Se profundiza en la relevancia de los recursos didácticos, destacando el papel de las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación, y en particular, del Software GeoGebra. Para esta investigación se desarrolla una propuesta de Secuencias Didácticas utilizando GeoGebra, orientada a la enseñanza de la programación lineal. La investigación emplea una metodología mixta con un diseño cuasiexperimental, integrando métodos cualitativos y cuantitativos para evaluar el impacto de la propuesta en el rendimiento académico y la motivación de los estudiantes. Se trabaja con un grupo de control y otro experimental. Los resultados muestran que el uso de GeoGebra mejora el aprendizaje, ya que el grupo experimental obtuvo puntuaciones más altas tras la intervención, además de que los estudiantes percibieron las clases como más dinámicas y comprendieron mejor los procedimientos matemáticos. Esta investigación contribuye al ámbito educativo, combinando teoría y práctica para mejorar la calidad del aprendizaje en un contexto específico de la educación secundaria. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
