| Abstract: | Trauma is a leading cause of death in pediatrics, with falls constituting a considerable proportion of these injuries. This article reviews current available evidence of indicators for fall severity, including height, landing position, landing surface, and mechanism to inform triage, and may assist the emergency nurse in prompt recognition of severe injury while preventing over-triage.
