Abstract (English): This state of knowledge addresses the teaching of Computer Numerical Control (CNC), a fundamental technology for modern manufacturing, and the challenges faced due to the high costs associated with the acquisition and maintenance of CNC equipment. The objective is to systematically review the existing literature on the topic, focusing on the technological solutions proposed to overcome these financial barriers and improve the teaching-learning process. The author conducted a comprehensive review using databases such as IEEE, CAPES Journals Portal, and BDTD, selecting relevant studies on virtual simulators, augmented reality applications, online platforms, and low-cost CNC machine development projects for educational purposes. The analysis of these works highlights the need for a free, innovative, and fully didactic platform to efficiently teach CNC programming. Existing simulators, while providing a virtual experience, lack efficient pedagogical resources to assist students in understanding fundamental concepts. Furthermore, many of these simulators require prior knowledge, hindering the learning process for beginners. The state of knowledge emphasizes the importance of overcoming cost and access barriers by offering a solid pedagogical approach, specifically designed to teach CNC programming intuitively and gradually, guiding students from basic concepts to the creation of more complex programs, providing interactive resources, practical exercises, and constant feedback. Abstract (Portuguese): Este estado de conhecimento aborda o ensino de Comando Numérico Computadorizado (CNC), uma tecnologia fundamental para a manufatura moderna, e os desafios enfrentados devido aos altos custos associados à aquisição e manutenção de equipamentos CNC. O objetivo é revisar sistematicamente a literatura existente sobre o tema, com foco nas soluções tecnológicas propostas para superar essas barreiras financeiras e melhorar o processo de ensino-aprendizagem. O autor realizou uma revisão abrangente utilizando bases de dados como IEEE, Portal de Periódicos da CAPES e BDTD, selecionando estudos relevantes sobre simuladores virtuais, aplicativos de realidade aumentada, plataformas online e projetos de desenvolvimento de máquinas CNC de baixo custo para fins didáticos. A análise dos trabalhos evidencia a necessidade de uma plataforma gratuita, inovadora e totalmente didática para ensinar programação CNC de forma eficiente. Os simuladores existentes, embora proporcionem uma experiência virtual, carecem de recursos pedagógicos eficientes para auxiliar os estudantes na compreensão dos conceitos fundamentais. Além disso, muitos desses simuladores exigem conhecimentos prévios, dificultando o processo de aprendizagem para iniciantes. O estado de conhecimento destaca a importância de superar as barreiras de custo e acesso, oferecendo uma abordagem pedagógica sólida, projetada especificamente para ensinar programação CNC de forma intuitiva e gradual, guiando os estudantes desde os conceitos básicos até a criação de programas mais complexos, fornecendo recursos interativos, exercícios práticos e feedback constante.
