The article focuses on the defense of a doctoral thesis in co-tutorship between Pablo de Olavide University (UPO) in Spain and the Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia (Uptc). The defense, held on October 22, 2024, was presented by Diana Marcela Pedraza Díaz and supervised by Dr. Nubia Yaneth Gómez Velasco, with co-supervision from Dr. Justo Cuño Bonito. The thesis, titled “Scientific Research in Academic Cultures: Interpretative and Propositional Analysis for Social Sciences from a Colombian University (2009-2019),” received the highest grade. The leadership in internationalization of the doctoral program at Uptc is highlighted, which has maintained academic relations with UPO since 1998. [Extracted from the article] |

El artículo se centra en la defensa de una tesis doctoral en cotutela entre la Universidad Pablo de Olavide (UPO) de España y la Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia (Uptc). La defensa, realizada el 22 de octubre de 2024, fue presentada por Diana Marcela Pedraza Díaz y dirigida por la Dra. Nubia Yaneth Gómez Velasco, con codirección del Dr. Justo Cuño Bonito. La tesis, titulada “Investigación científica en culturas académicas: análisis interpretativo y propositivo para las ciencias sociales desde una universidad colombiana (2009-2019)”, recibió la máxima calificación.
