Abstract (English): The ethnic and indigenous communities of Pueblo Rico, Colombia, are considered a priority population in the implementation of rural education projects to promote the productive and agricultural capabilities of the municipality. This article describes the socioeconomic and environmental impacts derived from an inter-institutional agreement that sought to strengthen the economy and rural development in the municipality, taking into account four axes of intervention: citizen participation, gender equality, peasant economy and cultural identity. 341 social actors participated, including students, teachers, parents, and indigenous and community leaders. The project showed a significant impact in strengthening the productive capacities of vegetable and animal crops, through the creation of productive units that integrate members of the community, promote the participation of women in agricultural production activities, strengthen the identity cultural and facilitate interethnic coexistence. Abstract (Spanish): Las comunidades étnicas e indígenas de Pueblo Rico, Colombia, son consideradas como una población prioritaria en la implementación de proyectos de educación rural para promover las capacidades productivas y agrícolas del municipio. En el presente artículo se describen los impactos socioeconómicos y ambientales derivados de un convenio interinstitucional que buscó fortalecer la economía y desarrollo rural en el municipio, teniendo en cuenta cuatro ejes de intervención: participación ciudadana, igualdad de género, economía campesina e identidad cultural. Participaron 341 actores sociales, entre ellos estudiantes, docentes, padres de familia, y líderes indígenas y comunitarios. El proyecto evidenció un impacto significativo en el fortalecimiento de las capacidades productivas de cultivos vegetales y animales, mediante la creación de unidades productivas que integran a los miembros de la comunidad, propician la participación de las mujeres en las actividades de producción agrícola, fortalecen la identidad cultural y facilitan la convivencia interétnica. Abstract (Portuguese): As comunidades étnicas e indígenas de Pueblo Rico, Colômbia, são consideradas população prioritária na implementação de projetos de educação rural para promover as capacidades produtivas e agrícolas do município. Este artigo descreve os impactos socioeconómicos e ambientais derivados de um acordo interinstitucional que procurou fortalecer a economia e o desenvolvimento rural no município, tendo em conta quatro eixos de intervenção: participação cidadã, igualdade de género, economia camponesa e identidade cultural. Participaram 341 atores sociais, entre estudantes, professores, pais e lideranças indígenas e comunitárias. O projecto apresentou um impacto significativo no fortalecimento das capacidades produtivas das culturas hortícolas e animais, através da criação de unidades produtivas que integram os membros da comunidade, promovem a participação das mulheres nas actividades de produção agrícola, fortalecem a identidade cultural e facilitam a convivência interétnica.
