| Abstract: | This commentary is based on the investigation of the experiences of Illinois parents of children with disabilities from marginalized communities. Participants shared their experiences through a panel format virtually for an audience of Illinois educators. Their responses have been analyzed and the authors identified three common themes: difficulties, education, and communication. The details of their responses and implications for practice are described. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
