Abstract (English): In the last two decades, the number of bilingual teaching programs in the Spanish educational system has increased considerably, so that 47.3% of primary school students participate in educational experiences that use a foreign language as the language of instruction (MEFPD, 2024). In this context, this study examines the analysis of the lexicon available to 84 sixth-grade students, 42 of English and 42 of French as foreign languages. Each group is, in turn, divided into two groups of the same size, one that has studied English or French as a school subject and the other that has also studied them as a vehicular language in bilingual programs. This analysis compares the production in both languages, establishing the differences that exist according to their age of introduction into the school curriculum, and also contrasts, within each language, the influence of the instruction model.
