Abstract (English): One of the fundamental objectives of inclusive education is to increase student participation in school activities. For this it is necessary to understand boys and girls as political subjects. The objective of this study is to explore how students are constructed as political subjects in schools with inclusive educational projects. Using a case study design with an ethnographic approach, a range of qualitative techniques were carried out with primary school students from six Chilean schools implementing inclusive educational projects. The data were produced between the years 2016 and 2021 and were analyzed using the content analysis technique. The main findings show that schools, from the voices of the students themselves, generate the organizational conditions for students to give their opinion and participate in the school environment through the generation of extracurricular spaces, formal and protocolized practices and interpersonal relationships based on affections and in inclusion. It is concluded that, although these elements facilitate the agency capacity of boys and girls, they are still limited, since they position the students as recipients of the inclusive educational project, but not as a social actor capable of leading and transforming the school.
