| Abstract (English): | This study aims to evaluate research on values education in Türkiye between 2012 and 2025. A metasynthesis method was employed to analyze academic articles and theses prepared using qualitative research methods. Articles were accessed through Google Scholar and DergiPark, while these were obtained from the National Thesis Center. Based on a literature review, 55 qualitative studies meeting the established criteria were evaluated using thematic synthesis. The findings revealed that the challenges encountered in values education in Türkiye can be categorized under five main themes: students, teachers, families, social environment, and the education system. Student-related issues primarily include lack of interest and motivation, egocentrism, insufficient readiness, and failure to internalize values. Teacher-related problems were linked mainly to a lack of knowledge about values education, an inability to serve as effective role models, inadequate collaboration, and a disregard for the importance of values. Family-related problems stem from lack of emphasis on values, insufficient support for values education, indifference toward the process, and weak school--family cooperation. Issues related to the social environment involved the negative influence of mass media, insensitivity toward values, and the presence of negative role models. Finally, problems within the education system included insufficient time allocated for values education, prioritization of academic instruction over values education, a lack of support from school administrations, and weak collaboration between schools and families. | Abstract (Turkish): | Bu araştırmanın amacı, Türkiye'de değerler eğitiminde karşılaşılan sorunları alanyazın çalışmaları çerçevesinde değerlendirmektir. Araştırmada, Türkiye'de 2012-2025 yılları arasında değerler eğitimi üzerine yapılan nitel araştırma yöntemleriyle hazırlanmış makale ve tezleri değerlendirmek için meta sentez yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada yararlanılan makalelere Google Akademik ve DergiPark'tan, tezlere Ulusal Tez Merkezinden ulaşılmıştır. Literatür taraması neticesinde kriterlere karşılayan 55 nitel çalışma, tematik sentez yöntemiyle değerlendirilmiştir. Yapılan değerlendirme sonucunda, Türkiye'de değerler eğitiminde karşılaşılan çeşitli sorunlar; öğrenci, öğretmen, aile, sosyal çevre ve eğitim sistemi kategorileri altında toplanmıştır. Öğrenciden kaynaklı sorunların daha çok ilgisizlik, isteksizlik, benmerkezcilik, hazırbulunuşluk düzeyi ve değerleri içselleştirememeyle ilgili olduğu belirlenmiştir. Öğretmenden kaynaklı sorunlar en fazla değerler eğitimine yönelik bilgi eksikliği, rol model olamama, iş birliği yapmama ve değerleri önemsememeden kaynaklandığı tespit edilmiştir. Aileden kaynaklı sorunlara bakıldığında, daha çok değerlere önem vermeme, değerler eğitimini desteklememe, değerler eğitimine karşı duyarsızlık ve okul-aile iş birliğinin olmaması gibi sorunlarla karşılaşıldığı görülmüştür. Sosyal çevreden kaynaklı sorunların ise daha çok kitle iletişim araçlarının olumsuz etkisi, değerlere karşı duyarsızlık ve olumsuz rol modellerden kaynaklandığı belirlenmiştir. Son olarak eğitim sisteminden kaynaklı sorunlara bakıldığında, daha çok okullarda değerler eğitimine yeterli zamanın ayrılmaması, öğretimin ön planda olması, okul yönetiminin değerler eğitimine yeterli destek vermemesi ve okul-aile iş birliğinin yetersizliği gibi sorunlarla karşılaşıldığı görülmüştür.
