Abstract: The article focuses on the Napa Valley Unified School District's (NVUSD) partnership with the Napa County Library to enhance student access to library resources through the OneCard Program. This initiative allows all students, from transitional kindergarten to 12th grade, to use their school-issued ID numbers as library cards, facilitating equitable access to both digital and print materials. The collaboration addresses challenges such as budget constraints and staffing shortages in school libraries, promoting educational equity and supporting diverse learners, including English Language Learners and Advanced Placement students. The article highlights the importance of partnerships between school and public libraries in ensuring that all students have the resources they need for academic success. [Extracted from the article]
