Abstract: The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of an enrichment program based on the communicative approach in addressing language wear among female secondary school students, and to achieve this, the study followed the descriptive approach to identify the manifestations of linguistic erosion in the secondary stage, the experimental method with a quasi-experimental design based on the design of one group with two pre-and posttest tests, and after conducting focus discussions with an intentional sample of 12) Arabic language teachers and supervisors, and conducting interviews with (15) female students of the secondary stage, a list of the most prominent aspects was reached The program was applied to an experimental sample of (32) female secondary school students in the tenth secondary school in Unaizah Governorate in Qassim City, and the language erosion test was applied to the female students before and after the application of the program, and then the results of the two tests were compared, and the study found that there are statistically significant differences between the average scores of female students in the pre- and post-application in favor of the application The results also confirmed the effectiveness of the program in developing the level of female students and reducing the manifestations of language erosion, and in light of these results, the study recommended the need to employ the communicative approach in the Arabic language curricula at the secondary stage, as an effective approach in addressing the manifestations of language erosion.
