Abstract: This paper reviews research on the case method's effectiveness in offline and online management education. The case method is an evolving, interactive approach that enhances critical thinking, analytical skills, and real-world application. It examines offline case teaching principles, decision-making processes, and online adaptations, highlighting both benefits and challenges. Online teaching increases engagement through flexibility, interactive tools, and accessibility but faces technology-related limitations and lacks opportunities for empirical research, which are crucial for preparing students for global careers. The paper explores how case-method teaching impacts student learning outcomes, equipping them with practical skills for real-world scenarios. It also compares the case method to traditional, experiential, and flipped classroom teaching. The paper recommends continuous feedback, updated materials, multimedia integration, and collaboration among educators, administrators, and course designers for effective implementation. These strategies ensure successful case-based learning experiences in both offline and online settings. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
