Abstract: The article introduces future crafting as another form of ecowriting which blends imagination, storytelling and art-making to envision possible futures. It presents examples of future crafting with preservice and in-service teaching, including future crafting with community and future crafting for climate. It also discusses the potential of future crafting to foster the artistic practices of imagination, creativity and empathy through multimodal composition and speculative writing.
