Abstract (English): This article presents the results of a study whose purpose was to generate a theoretical construct oriented towards the development of a teaching praxeology based on critical thinking for the teaching of cell biology in Basic Secondary and High School Education in Valledupar, Colombia. The research was based on the qualitative paradigm with a phenomenological-interpretive approach, employing the hermeneutic method to understand the meanings attributed by social actors to their praxis. The subjects of the study were four key informants from the Joaquín Ochoa Maestre Educational Institution, selected based on criteria of suitability and experience. Data collection was carried out through standardized, unscheduled interviews and reflective observation, processed through structural analysis and data triangulation. The findings revealed the persistence of a hybrid pedagogical rationality, characterized by the coexistence of innovative discourses with mechanized traditional practices, strained by infrastructure limitations and a weak systematization of critical strategies. The study concludes with the structuring of a framework comprised of five guiding principles; reflexivity, intentional articulation, praxeological coherence, critical contextualization, and conscious mediation, which position the reflection-action-reflection cycle as a transformative axis. This theoretical contribution allows teachers to transcend the traditional model, fostering in students a systemic understanding of cell organelles and scientific literacy grounded in autonomy and critical analysis.
