Abstract (English): This article reviews a pilot study of an educational intervention designed to reframe high school students’ social perceptions of violence against women. The first step involved understanding the content of young people’s social representations through a group interview and individual short-story writing. The intervention itself was carried out via a reading mediation session with a short story by a Latin American female author. Subsequently, a new exploration of social representations was conducted. Initially, the normalization of violence against women was identified, and by the end of the intervention, questions regarding that normalization emerged. The main conclusions focus on the importance of discussing the topic with students, the value of literature in doing so, and the necessary adjustments for the final intervention. Abstract (Spanish): Este artículo analiza el piloto de una intervención educativa orientada a resignificar las representaciones sociales de estudiantes de preparatoria en torno a las violencias contra las mujeres. El primer paso consistió en conocer el contenido de las representaciones sociales de las y los jóvenes a través de una entrevista grupal y la escritura de cuentos individuales; la intervención propiamente se realizó mediante una sesión de mediación lectora con el cuento de una escritora latinoamericana; posteriormente se efectuó un nuevo acercamiento a las representaciones sociales. Se identificó, en principio, la normalización que existe de las violencias contra las mujeres y, al finalizar la intervención, cuestionamientos sobre esa normalización. Las principales conclusiones se enfocan en la pertinencia de dialogar el tema con estudiantes, lo valiosa que resulta la literatura para hacerlo y las adecuaciones necesarias para la intervención final.
