Abstract (English): The article focuses on the human and academic legacy of Professor Ciro Parra Moreno (1965–2024), highlighting his contribution to communication, relationality, and the development of the STEM Digital Identity (ID-STEM). ID-STEM, based on the STEM educational approach (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), is understood as a critical and ethical construction that integrates scientific and technological knowledge with 21st-century skills. Parra applied the New Strategic Theory (NTE) to strengthen this digital identity from an interdisciplinary and relational perspective, promoting the connection between research, education, and social commitment. His rigorous method and humanistic vision influenced the training of educators and the building of communities of practice that link theory and action in real contexts. [Extracted from the article]
Abstract (Spanish): Este ensayo rinde homenaje a la vida y obra del profesor Ciro Parra Moreno (1965– 2024), resaltando su impacto en la comunicación, la relacionalidad y el desarrollo de la Identidad Digital STEM (ID-STEM). A partir de una relación académica y humana consolidada durante la dirección de mi tesis doctoral, se analiza su método riguroso de formación investigativa, su integración de la Nueva Teoría Estratégica (NTE) con el pensamiento complejo y la sociología relacional, así como su visión interdisciplinaria aplicada al fortalecimiento de competencias del siglo XXI. El texto combina testimonios personales, fundamentos teóricos y referencias académicas, con el objetivo de mantener vivo un legado que conecta la educación universitaria, la investigación y el compromiso social.
