Abstract: This report about Indiana school funding reviews funding priorities, state aid formula changes, and selected education initiatives. Based on a recent budget report, it appears that Indiana has made education the top priority as the largest allocation is for tuition support that is used to fund schools. New and continuing priorities include teacher recruiting, training, and retaining, as well as grappling with chronic absenteeism and a planned expansion of opportunities to participate in the Indiana Choice Scholarship Program.
