| Abstract (English): | In response to challenges in junior high school biology teaching, including the disconnect from nature and superficial use of museum resources, this paper, drawing on the resources of the Shanghai Natural History Museum, develops the "Tracing the wild in Shanghai" project-based learning activity with the theme of exploring local vertebrates in Shanghai. Based on the 5E teaching model and situated learning theory, this activity guides students to complete their learning in the museum, promotes understanding of biological concepts, and enhances students' scientific inquiry abilities and sense of social responsibility.
