Abstract:	This article provides an overview of major literary book awards and curated booklists that serve as valuable resources for librarians engaged in reader’s advisory (RA) work, focusing on literary fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. It highlights prominent awards such as the Booker Prize (UK-based, for fiction in English), the National Book Award (U.S.-based, celebrating American literature), the Pulitzer Prizes (U.S., covering multiple literary categories), the Anisfield-Wolf Book Awards (recognizing works addressing racism and diversity), the Dublin Literary Award (international fiction nominated by libraries worldwide), the National Book Critics Circle Awards (chosen by critics), and the UK-based Women’s Prize for Fiction and Non-Fiction (championing women’s writing).
