Abstract (English): Within the Decade of Action (2020-2030), understanding the value of inclusive leisure is crucial to enhancing youth participation and building more equitable societies. This paper presents a study of the Diverze Process, an inclusive leisure initiative developed by the Association for Social Mediation (EQUA) and the University of Cádiz. It brings together youth with and without Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, fostering coexistence and inclusion. The aim of our research was to identify the inclusive characteristics of the Diverze Process and its significance for the participants. This work connects its findings with the opportunities it offers for the development of the 2030 Agenda. A qualitative, interpretive, and evaluative case study was used. The methodology included document analysis, participant observations, and semi-structured interviews with professionals and young people involved. Data analysis was carried out through a process of emergent categorization and content analysis, with findings supported by method and source triangulation. The results are presented in two sections. The first provides context for the case study. The second reveals that the Diverze Process has impacted the selfconfidence and social skills of the youth, who reported through their reflections a greater sense of belonging and more active participation in their communities. The conclusions of this work highlight how inclusive leisure is both a right and a tool for advancing SDG 4, by expanding access to inclusive and quality education, and SDG 10, reducing inequalities through the creation of community spaces where people with and without disabilities participate on equal terms.
