| Abstract: |
The article presents a reply to James G. Gallagher's reviews of the book "Education of Mentally Handicapped Children". The lectures have gone through annual revisions in the light of the developments and the responses of the students to several opinion polls to determine the needs, interests, and opinions regarding deletions and amplifications. The reviewer finds a contradiction between the authors statement that intelligence is an important factor in social and occupational adjustment and in self-discipline and self-control. |
