| Abstract: | Education is the process of teaching and studying something in some cultural, social and physical setting. Educology is knowledge about that process. The authors of this article focus their efforts on extending the educology of school quality. They report on recent efforts within England and Wales to improve education within schools through a process of evaluation provided by experts external to the schools. They find that the evaluation process has beneficial effects, and they recommend that the evaluation process be supplemented with a follow-up process which plans and implements measures for school improvement.
