| Abstract: | This article examines the situation at the U.S. Air Force Academy demonstrating the presence of Establishment Clause violations and pressing the need for the Supreme Court to reaffirm its First Amendment military jurisprudence and set specific parameters for the exercise of religion at military colleges. It describes the alleged Establishment Clause violations at the academy that give the basis of a current lawsuit filed by Michael Weinstein, a second generation graduate of the academy. The lawsuit is briefly addressed and examines why it is too broad to bring any effective change to the academy. |
