| Abstract: | The article takes a look on the significance of Bringing Theory to Practice (BTP) project in addressing students concerns, such as depression and alcohol abuse. Particularly, it attempts to demonstrate the relationships among engaged learning, mental health and civic development of students through BTP. According to the author, the project assumes that if students were more engaged in their learning, then their mental health and civic development would be affected. Moreover, the project has shown that providing and supporting learning contexts that enable student transformation has shown great promise in developing the whole person. |
