| Abstract: | The author considers the determinants of his research on queer identity. Reflecting on research on social class and queer theory, he believes that one's queer identity is grounded upon his or her social class, racial and gender identities. He advocates a deeper understanding of social class, race, gender and other factors in the formation of one's identity. He says that delving into these aspects of identity will also deepen and transform one's own understanding of himself or herself. |
