Abstract: The author reflects on the educational reform program called P-16. He argues that adequate research has not been conducted about the education system in the U.S. before changes to the system have been promoted. The types of educational reform, such as the implementation of college level courses in high schools, are examined and it is suggested that other types of reform programs could also prove useful in education systems.
