| Abstract: | The article focuses on the objectives of the professional development activities in the U.S. which offer teachers basic strategies on social studies framework. It states that the description of author S.G. Grant on professional development activities is the presumption that the aim to create and stage the activities is really to offer an opportunity for teachers to learn about the new framework and to learn about how their teaching needs be met. In addition, Grant stated that the New York State Social Studies Framework is clearly a document that covers curricular issues. |
