Abstract: The author reflects on the concept of "scholarship of teaching" as an educational program in Singapore. She asserts the pros and cons of the scholarship of teaching and asserts the need for shared conceptualization. The author highlights the importance of scholarship of teaching in which it raises awareness and promotes reflection which lead to improvement of learning and teaching practices.
