Abstract: The article presents a study which investigates the talent distribution, age characteristics and power of badminton reserved talents in China. Players from 22 teams in 2006 National Junior Badminton Competition were employed as the subjects of the study. Results show that the talent distribution changes while new teams arise. It suggests that basic skills of the talents need to be improved and the ethic level and professional spirits of the junior badminton players should be enhanced.
