Abstract: The article describes the policies and attitudes of "Cultural Studies of Science Education" towards citations, particularly in regards to the qualitative difference between lists of parenthetical citations and more detailed descriptions of how the cited work fits into the article. It then introduces the articles appearing in the issue on topics such as the history of the Australasian Science Education Research Association (ASERA), the death of educator Sreyashi Jhumki Basu, and an op-ed on the subject of science and creationism.
