| Abstract: | The author explores the concept of Singularity or superhuman intelligence. She points out that the rise of Singularity is expected to mark the end of biological humans, caused by digital inventions. Inventor Ray Kurzweil used his Law of Accelerating Returns to demonstrate evidence of Singularity and promoted his prediction in three books including "The Singularity Is Near: When Humans Transcend Biology." She cites symptoms of Singularity in the financial market including the use of algorithms for trading shares. |
