| Abstract: | The article discusses how the implementation of MediaWiki in honors courses in colleges can improve the collaborative learning process. It states that by the introduction of new online technologies like MediaWiki, one can indulge in project oriented classes rooted in constructivist epistemology where information can be gathered and transformed by the students. It offers information on the collaborative project, called Little Rock Renaissance, which involves MediaWiki to help students build on what honors students have done in previous classes and add new collaborators from the community. It mentions that MediaWiki offers a built-in content-monitoring system which allows students to communicate with one another and grasp the style, structure and content of the resources. |
