Abstract: The article discusses the presentation of student art through galleries on the Internet. The author notes that online student art galleries are often featured through a school's website and are not affected by space limitations. Online galleries can exhibit student art to the public, promote school art programs and improve student motivation. Artwork in online galleries can be organized according to class, student, assignment or grade level and can allow students to comment on each other's work. The author warns that student art websites must be constructed to protect students' privacy and personal information. Guidelines regarding the design of Internet galleries are noted and information on gallery design programs is provided.
